How to reach us
By plane
The nearest international airport is Florence; Bologna airport is also convenient. There are frequent flights from a lot of European cities, including Prague, with Volotea, Ryanair and other airlines. If you want to be mobile during your stay, which we recommend, you can rent a car at the airport. We have a good experience with SicilybyCar. From Florence, it is just over an hour by car to reach us, from Bologna an hour more.
There is also a train connection from both airports to Arezzo. The trains are of good quality in Italy; they run frequently and are rarely late. You can find a connection and buy tickets conveniently online via the Trainline app. From Arezzo, take a taxi and you're in the villa in 25 minutes.
By car
From the north we take the route via Munich, Innsbruck, Bolzano, Verona, Bologna, Firenze, Arezzo, Monterchi and then on to Lippiano. After three kilometres from Monterchi, you turn sharply right onto Lippiano. You start to climb uphill and at the first sharp left-hand bend you turn right, uphill, onto a gravel road. It curves to the left, and in 50 metres, you are at the gate.
The journey from the Czech Republic by car takes 10-12 hours.
