Dating back to 1790, this ancient stone villa is a great base not only for visiting Italy's world-famous cities, but also for exploring the many smaller villages and towns in the area.
Many of them didn't make it into the "Italy guidebooks", so this is where you'll experience the real Italy, away from the tourists.

Your space
The villa has 6 bedrooms (14 beds), 5 bathrooms, two living rooms, a spacious dining room and 3 kitchens. Depending on the number you decide to come and have your space available. The house offers three separate zones, with private entrances and terraces. Each suite has a kitchen with dining table and a separate bathroom with toilet.
Thick stone walls ensure a pleasant climate even in the hot summer months. There are also ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
Swimming with a view of the landscape
The 10 x 5 metre saline pool provides an oasis even on the hottest of days.
From here you have a breathtaking view of the landscape, dominated by the Chapel of San Lorenzo on the horizon in front of you. There is also a very pleasant walk, ideal to explore the immediate surroundings for the first time.

You'll get to try your hand at making our homemade pizza from the oven. It's easy!
From the market straight to the grill
Fish from the local market tastes best on the grill. In Cita di Castello, the fisherman Fábio always has them perfectly fresh at the market. The markets are every Thursday and Saturday from morning to 1pm. You can also find great fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese and salami.
You can enjoy amazing wines from local vineyards with your barbecue.
